" I started photography at the young age of 7 with a Brownie Camera and a darkroom under the stairs in the basement of my family home in Chicago. My first celebrity photograph was in April of 1955 aboard the ship SS Constitution when I was on my dad's shoulders with a 16mm movie camera filming Actress Grace Kelly and her entourage. She was on her way to the Cannes Film Festival. A year later she became the Princess of Monaco".
